The Café Bar – Esplanada Restaurant is located in the heart of the border town of Valença do Minho.

Flanked by the River Minho and the superb landscape of the Fortress where it has 5 km walled perimeter to travel in time The Esplanada Restaurant becomes the filling of a tranquilizing walk with the opportunity to sit in front of Valença and taste one of the region’s green wines in our esplanade, in particular the famous castes of Vinho Alvarinho.

We offer the best of the Traditional Portuguese Gastronomy, where some flavors of the Alto Minho Region stand out, besides the flavors of traditional Portuguese cuisine.
